BARTENDING 101: ESSENTIAL TIPS FOR BARTENDERS

Bartending Tips for New Bartenders

As a profesional bartender, well as close to a profesional one can be. I'd like to share tips I wish I had known when starting off. ill keep it short so lets dive in !!

  1. Efficiency and Accuracy: Mastering speed without compromising on accuracy is crucial. I can't emphasize a  lot that you should Practice multitasking and efficiency to handle multiple orders while ensuring each drink is perfectly crafted (perfect the balance between quantity and quality). Speed will improve with experience, so focus on precision without sacrificing customer satisfaction.

  2. Customer Interaction: Engaging with people is as important as mixing drinks, I would agree that sometimes even more. Establish a friendly rapport by understanding their preferences and suggesting suitable drinks. A welcoming attitude goes a long way in building regular clientele and tips.focus on the people and tips will surely come.

  3. Organization is Key: Maintain a well-organized bar to streamline your work, nobody likes to walk in to a bar/restaurant  and see the area a mess. Arrange tools and ingredients systematically for easy access. Keep an inventory and restock timely to prevent any disruptions during service.

  4. Attention to Detail: The small things matter in bartending and they do. Accurate measurements, cleanliness, garnish and presenting finely crafted drinks can significantly enhance the customer experience. Some say that the phone drinks before the Customer so keep those drinks looking photo ready!!

  5. Continuous Learning: The mixology world is always evolving. Keep learning, attend workshops, and explore new recipes and techniques. Staying updated is key to excelling in this profession, don't be afraid to experiment and try new and bold concoctions.
